Karachi City Station : ウィキペディア英語版
Karachi City railway station

Karachi City () (formerly McLeod station) is the first and the oldest railway station in Pakistan. It is commonly called "City station" or "City railway station" in Karachi. It is situated near Habib Bank Plaza on I. I. Chundrigar Road in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. This railway is the Head Office of Karachi Division of Pakistan Railways.
Due to the lack of space, most of the passenger trains and traffic have been moved to Karachi Cantt railway station.
==History==
It was around 1855 when the commissioner of Sindh, Bartle Frere, suggested that the government should construct a railway line between the Harbour of Karachi and Korti. Eventually, after several surveys, the construction of a railway line from the Port of Karachi was begun. Later, on May 3, 1864, public transportation between Karachi and Kotri began from Mcleoad Station (now Karachi City Station).〔
